Kerala government to launch MEDISEP medical insurance scheme from July 1

The Kerala government will launch a medical insurance scheme- MEDISEP for state government employees, pensioners and eligible family members with effect from 01 July, 2022. Under this scheme, cashless medical assistance up to Rs.3 lakh per year will be provided.

For the policy term from the year 2022 to 2024, the annual premium will be Rs 4800 and there will be 18

percent GST. For this, a monthly premium of Rs 500 will be deducted from the salary of June and from pension after July. An order in this regard has been issued by the state finance department.
