Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Inaugurates Fifth Global Film Tourism Conclave In Mumbai
On 01 July, 2022 Union Minister for Minority Affairs Abbas Naqvi has inaugurated the 5th Global Film Tourism Conclave (GFTC) in Mumbai. The theme of this GFTC is 'Unleashing the Power of Cinematic Tourism'. It is organized by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI). This program is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
▪️ Highlights of the 5th GFTC
Snippets of movies promoting tourist destinations in India like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Mohenjodaro etc. Presentation of incentive schemes for film shooting from several tourism boards. Panel discussion to promote film tourism in India as well as in other countries
▪️ Global Film Tourism Conclave (GFTC)
The objective of GFTC is to promote film tourism and to exhibit the tourism potential of destinations. It provides a platform to film commissions, tourism boards etc. to promote their places and services in the Indian film industry. The first edition of GFTC was organized in 2017.
▪️ PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI)
It was established in 1905. It acts as a catalyst in promoting industry, trade and entrepreneurship. Its international office is in Bahrain.
