Today America will celebrate its 246th Independence Day

The 246th Independence Day of the United States of America (USA) will be celebrated on 04 July, 2022. On 2 July, 1776, the Continental Congress of America voted in favor of independence from Great Britain and two days later, i.e. on 4 July, 1776, representatives of the 13 colonies of America adopted the
Declaration of Independence which was a historical document prepared by Thomas Jefferson

The 'Continental Congress' was a meeting of representatives of the 13 colonies in America that had united in the 'American Revolutionary War'. The American Revolutionary War (1775–1783), also known as the American War of Independence or the Revolutionary War in the United States, was a military conflict between Great Britain and its 13 North American colonies to become the independent United States of America. This initial battle took place in the North American continent. France supported the 13 North American colonies in this war which was defeated by Great Britain in the Seven Years' War.
