Aam Mahotsav-2022  organized in Uttar Pradesh

Aam Mahotsav -2022 has beennorganized in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh from July 4-7. During this Mega Cluster of Mango' was also inaugurated. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh Aam Mahotsav -2022 on 4th July. The event will showcase 700 varieties of mangoes and their by-products.

All the products will be from the districts of Uttar Pradesh, MadhyanPradesh and Uttarakhand. This festival is being organized with the aim of increasing the income of the farmers as well as increasing the production of mangoes.

Apart from this, this objective willmbe fulfilled by bringing various stakeholders on a single platform, as well as providing information about marketing strategies to the farmers during the festival. India produces about 20.4 million tons of mangoes, which accounts for 65% of the global mango production, while Uttar Pradesh produces 4.5 million tons.
