Including a mathematician from Ukraine, 4 to be honored with the prestigious Fields Medal
On 05 July, 2022, Ukraine's Mathematician Maryna Viazovska was announced to be awarded the prestigious Fields Medal. Along with her, three more people will also be given this honor. Other winners include French mathematician Hugo Duminil- Copin of the University of Geneva, Korean-American mathematician June Huh of Princeton, and British mathematician James Maynard of the University of Oxford.
