Himachal Governor Rajendra Vishwanath released the book 'The McMahon Line'
Recently, Himachal Pradesh Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar released a book titled 'The McMahon Line: A Century of Discord'. This book is written by the former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh and former retired Army Chief General JJ Singh.
This book is based on the experiences and research of
General JJ Singh on the India-China border dispute. A short film on the McMahon line was also shown. This
is his second book written by him. General JJ Singh wrote his experience, research and practical knowledge, which can prove to be beneficial.
General JJ Singh wrote a book on a sensitive issue. The book emphasized the politics, history, structure and geography of the McMahon line. The book had uncovered many interesting aspects that were still relevant to the ongoing negotiations on the diplomatic front.
General JJ Singh revealed that the book was based on six years of study and research on the India- China border dispute. He explained the main aspects of the book in detail.
