Indian Army Gets New Indigenous Armored Warfare Vehicle
Recently, the Indian Army has received state-of-the-art
indigenous armored vehicles. These armored vehicles are made by Tata Company. The name of this vehicle
is 'Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicle Medium' (QRFV).

These armored vehicles will enhance the fighting capability of the country's defender in all weather and terrain conditions and provide security while on the move.
The induction of this vehicle will enhance the operational capability of the Indian Army in future
conflicts. It is made by Tata Advance Systems Limited (TASL). This armored vehicle is a Monocoque Hull Multi-Role Mine Protected armored vehicle. That is,
if the landmine explodes under it, then nothing will happen to it.
In the last four years from 2018-19 to 2021-22, the initiatives taken by the Center to encourage
production of indigenous defense equipment have resulted in reduction of expenditure on procurement for the defense sector from abroad from 46 per cent to 36 per cent of the total expenditure.
