Indian Heritage Institute to be set up in Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida
The Indian Heritage Institute will soon be set up as a Deemed University to provide higher education and research in areas related to Indian heritage and its
conservation. Culture and Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy recently gave this information in the Lok Sabha.
Indian Heritage Institute will be set.up in Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Let us tell you that in the Union Budget 2020-21, it was announced to establish this institute.
The institute will offer.postgraduate and research degrees in arts subjects such as history, conservation, museology, archival studies, archaeology, preventive
conservation. The Indian Heritage Institute is meant to meet the human resource needs in the entire cultural sector.
It is known that the new education policy envisages the inclusion of culture as an integral part of the. educational curriculum. The opening of this institute will encourage the study of museology at a higher level.
