Indian Women Soldiers Participated in Four Day 'Women's Peace and Security Seminar' in Mongolia

Indian women soldiers participated in a four day 'Women's Peace and Security Seminar' in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The program was launched on 16 June, 2022 and has been organized under the guidance of Ukhna Khurelsukh, President of Mongolia. Ukhna Khurelsukh said in the opening speech that his country would promote women's participation in UN peacekeeping operations.

Union Minister of Law and Justice, Kiren Rijiju interacted with the Indian community there on 17 June, 2022. He had reached Ulaanbaatar on 13 June, 2022, carrying four sacred relics belonging to Lord Buddha from India. These relice have been kept in the exhibition organized for 11 days.
