President of Ukraine honored with Winston Churchill Leadership Award
Recently, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was presented the Winston Churchill Leadership Award. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson presented the award on 26 July, 2022, after
comparing Winston Churchill and Zelenskyy in times of crisis.
The award has been presented to Volodymyr Zelenskyy for standing up and fighting back against the.Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Churchill had also faced such a situation in 1940.

The Winston Churchill Leadership Award was first given in 2006. It has been given in the past to Prince
Charles, former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and former British Prime Ministers Margaret Thatcher and John Major.
Winston Churchill
Sir Winston Churchill was a British Politician, writer and soldier. He served as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during World War II as well as from 1951–1955. He was an economic liberal and imperialist.
For most of his career, he was a member of the Conservative Party.
