Modi unveils India's first
passenger drone 'Varun'
Recently Prime Minister NarendrabModi has unveiled India's firstbpassenger drone 'Varun'. The country-made pilot-less drone has been designed for the Indian Navy. After thorough testing, the Indian Navy will use it on warships for the first time in war. After this it will be
used to transport humans. Recently it was demonstrated in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the 'Swavlamban' program held in New Delhi.
This 'Varun' drone has been designed and developed by a startup and has the capability to carry a single person inside. Varun Drone can fly up to 25 km in one flight. This drone has the ability to carry up to 130 kg of goods or people from one place to another. It will fly two meters above the ground and has a time limit of 25 to 33 minutes.
