For the first time in country, Government of Kerala to start online government e-taxi service
Kerala government will start e-taxi service from next month. This initiative will be the first to be launched by any state government in the country. This e-taxi service will be named 'Kerala Savari'. The online taxi hiring service is being started by the state labor department. Its objective is to ensure safe and dispute free travel for the public at affordable rates prevailing in the state.
This is the first time that the government is launching an online taxi service in the country. This government is moving towards a sector dominated by multinational companies with the aim of welfare of workers. In addition to the fixed rate in 'Kerala Savari', only 8 percent service charge will be levied.
The 'Kerala Savari' app is a very secure system for children and women to use. The app is designed with utmost care in security standards. The app also has a panic button system which can be pressed in case of a car accident or any other type of danger. Anyone can do it at his/her personal level.
