PM Narendra Modi announces 'Pancha Prana'
target for next 25 years
On August 15, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called upon the people of India to take 'Pancha
Prana' (Five Pledges) for andeveloped nation and set a target of fulfilling the dreams of freedom fighters by the year 2047, the 100thbyear of India's independence.
Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the 75th Independence Day, the Prime Minister spoke about those five pledges that the country needs tonfocus on for the next 25 years. Forbthe coming 25 years, we have tobconcentrate our energy on those
Pancha Pranas.
In the year 2047, when there will be 100 years of independence we need to take the responsibility of fulfilling all the dreams of the freedom fighters which they had envisaged.
Pancha Prana
First Prana - the goal of developed India
Second Prana - freedom from every part of slavery
Third Prana - to be proud of one's heritage
Fourth Prana - unity and solidarity
Fifth Prana - to have a sense of duty in the citizens, in this neither both Prime Minister, the President nor the Chief Minister is out.
