The Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of 
India launches Manthan


The Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA) to the Government of India, with the vision to enable and empower all areas of Science and Technology within the country, has announced the launch of Manthan Manch. It aims to promote large- scale collaboration between industry and the scientific research & development ecosystem to achieve India's sustainable goals in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Charter as defined by the United Nations.

The launch commemorates 75 years of India's Independence  Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and presents an opportunity to bring national and global communities closer to India's technological revolution. Manthan, led by the Office of PSA, can potentially
transform the landscape of science and technology-based social impact innovation and solutions in India.

The platform will facilitate knowledge transfer and dialogue through information exchange sessions, exhibitions and events to outline future science, innovation and technology-led developments.

The platform will be able to enhance dialogue among
stakeholders, facilitate research and innovation and share the challenges of various emerging technologies and scientific interventions, including those that have a social impact.
