New Chief Justices appointed in six High Courts including Rajasthan
On 19 June, 2022, new Chief Justices were appointed in the six High Courts. Judges of five High Court save been promoted to Chief Justice, while one Chief Justice was transferred to another High Court.

Chief Justice of Telangana High Court Satish Chandra Sharma has been transferred and made Chief Justice of Delhi High Court. Justice Vipin Sanghi, a judge of the Delhi High Court, has been made the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court.
Bombay High Court Judge Justicen Amjad A. Sayed has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.
Bombay High Court Judge Justice S. S. Shinde has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court. Justice Rashmin M. Chhaya, a judge of the Gujarat High Court, has been made the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court.
Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, the present judge of the Telangana High Court, has been promoted and made the Chief Justice there.
