Kempegowda International Airport Wins Best Regional Airport in India and South Asia Award
Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport has won the title of Best Regional Airport in
India and South Asia at the Skytrax World Airport Awards-2022. The award is based on passenger feedback in a survey conducted globally. The survey asked users'
experience about different arrangements at arrival, transfer, security, immigration and departure gates.
Bengaluru airport also won the Best Airport and Aviation Innovation award at the Wings India Awards earlier this year. This survey is conducted every year in which airports with the best customer service are selected. The award ceremony was held on 16 June at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Paris, France
