ISRO launched PSLV-C53

On 30 June, 2022 Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully launched PSLV-C53/DS- EO mission from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. This launch was done from another launch pad. This is the second commercial launch of NewSpace India Limited (NSIL). Earlier on 14 February, 2022, ISRO launched PSLV-C52/EOS-4 mission from
Sriharikota. This is the 55th mission of PSLV.

Bengaluru-based Digantara Robust Engineering Photon Fluorescence Meter (ROBI) Proton Dosimeter payload and Dhruv Space Satellite Orbital Deployer (DSOD 1U) have been sent with this rocket. Both are satellites of startup companies. In 44.4 Meter High PSLV-C53 Rocket, apart from these two, there will be three more satellites. This rocket will deploy the satellites in an orbit 570 km above the Earth's equator. Singapore's Three Satellites

Three satellites of Singapore have been launched under PSLV-C53. The three main satellites that have been sent in this, both the DS-EO satellite and the NeuSAR satellites, are from Singapore. NeuSAR is
Singapore's first commercial satellite with a SAR payload.

It is capable of taking pictures day and night in any weather. The DS- EO satellite weighs 365 kg. While
the NeuSAR satellite weighs 155 kg. The name of the third satellite is Scoob-1, this satellite weighing about 2.8 kg has been made by Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. DS-EO satellite will help in disaster relief. Scoob-1 is the first student satellite built by Singapore students.
