Odisha wins first prize in National MSME Awards 2022
The Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of Odisha has been
awarded the first prize in the category ' Awards 2022' to States/UTs for their outstanding contribution in the promotion and development of the MSME sector. The state has won this award on the basis of various developmental initiatives taken for
the development of MSMEs. According to an official statement released by the Ministry of MSME, Odisha bagged the first prize in the category of awards given to the states and union territories for the development of the MSME sector. Bihar secured second position,and
Haryana secured third.
While Virudhunagar of Tamil Nadu,Karauli and Kalahandi of Rajasthan have bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively in theAspirational districts for promotion and development of MSME sector.
