'One Health' pilot project  launched in Bengaluru

Recently, the 'One Health' pilot project was launched in Bengaluru by the Ministry of Dairy and Animal
Husbandry. The 'One Health’ Pilot project was launched by the Department of Dairy and Animal Husbandry with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as implementation partners. Let us tell you that prior to this 'One Health’ Pilot Project was started in Uttarakhand also.

The ‘One Health’ pilot project will bring together stakeholders from human, animal and environmental
health to come up with solutions to prevent future outbreaks of Zoonotic disease such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The success of this pilot project will help the Center to develop a national 'One Health' roadmap.

The roadmap will be equipped with a better response mechanism and management which will also incorporate world best practices. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is an American private foundation, which was launched in the year 2000 by Bill Gates and
