Prasar Bharati Launches its New Logo
On 11 July, 2022, Information and Broadcasting Secretary Apoorva.Chandra has unveiled the new logo of Prasar Bharati. The map of India.in the new logo shows trust,.service, security and excellence for the nation. Its deep medium blue color represents both the.sky and the sea which is associated with free space, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration and sensitivity.
Blue also represents depth, loyalty, honesty, wisdom, confidence, stability, trust and intelligence. On this occasion member of Prasar Bharati D.P.S. Negi said that the.new logo of Prasar Bharati has.been defined as a combination of both All India Radio and Doordarshan.

Prasar Bharati is an autonomous.statutory body which came into.existence on 23 November 1997 under the Prasar Bharati Act, it is.the public service Broadcaster of the country. The public service broadcasting objectives referred to in the Prasar Bharati Act are
achieved through All India Radio and Doordarshan. It is noteworthy that both of them earlier worked as a media unit under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and became its constituents after the establishment of Prasar Bharati. It’s headquarter is in New Delhi.
