Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates Digital India Week 2022 in Gandhinagar
On 04 July, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched Digital India Week 2022 inGandhinagar, Gujarat. The theme of Digital India Week is 'Catalyzing New India's Techade’. In the program he has introduced several digital features, with aim to increase people's access to technology, ease of living and strengthen startups.
The Digital India program was launched in the year 2015. This program is related to many important government schemes like- BharatNet, Make in India, Startup India and Standup India, Industrial Corridors etc. Its objective is to prepare India as a futuristic knowledge hub and to make the change real i.e. IT (Indian Talent) + IT (Information Technology) = IT (India Tomorrow).
