SM Krishna, Narayana Murthy and Prakash Padukone selected for the first 'Kempegowda International Award'
Former Karnataka Chief Minister SM Krishna, Infosys founder and IT industry veteran NR Narayana Murthy and former badminton player Prakash Padukone have been selected for the Kempegowda International Award. This award has been started from this year only.
The Higher Education Minister of Karnataka said that all the three awardees have contributed in their own unique way in the development of Bengaluru and increasing the fame of the city. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh along with a plaque to the
winner.
