Noted playback singer Bhupinder Singh passed away in Mumbai on 18 July, 2022. Bhupinder Singh, 82, started his career with All India Radio and was also associated with Delhi Doordarshan. He gave his melodious voice to many songs in films. He is remembered for his melodious songs in films like "Mausam", "Satte Pe Satta", "Ahista Ahista", "Dooriyan",
"Haqeeqat" and many more.
These include many songs like "Hoke Majboor Mujhe, Usne Bhula Hoga", "Dil Dhundhta Hai", "Dukki
Pe Dukki Ho Ya Satte Pe Satta". Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the demise of
noted singer and composer Bhupinder Singh. And tweeted that Bhupinder Singh had given his melodious voice to memorable songs for decades and his works
have impressed people.
