 This time Gujarat will host the National Games

 The 36th National Games, which have been postponed several times due to different reasons, will be held in different cities of Gujarat in September-October this year. Indian Olympic Association Secretary General Rajeev Mehta has given this information. Gujarat Olympic Association and the state government jointly expressed interest in hosting the Games. The National Sports Games will be held in September-October in five or six cities of Gujarat including Ahmadabad.

◾️ National game has been postponed many times

 The last National Games were held in Kerala in the year 2015. The 36th National Games were to be held in Goa in November 2016 but were postponed twice due to the inability of the state government. After this it was decided to organize in 2020 but could not happen due to Corona Pandemic.
