World Nature Conservation Day observed on 28 July

World Nature Conservation Day isborganized every year on 28 July to create awareness among the

people for the conservation of natural resources. The theme of this year's World Nature Conservation Day 2022 is 'Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People

and Planet'.

The primary objective of organizing this day is to create awareness about the need to preserve the environment and natural resources to keep the world healthy.

Saving plants and animals on the verge of extinction is the primary goal of World Nature Conservation Day. On this day, emphasis is also laid on keeping the various

components of nature intact. These include flora and fauna, energy resources, soil, water and air etc. It

also underlines the need to protect the environment for future generations.
