Defense Expo 2022 to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat in October
The 12th edition of India's premier exhibition DefExpo-2022, which has been postponed due to the Russo-Ukraine war, will be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from October 18 to 22, 2022. In this five-day event, after three business days, the remaining two days will be dedicated to the general public.
During this, the equipment and skills of the armed forces and industry will be showcased at the Sabarmati River Front through active participation and concerted efforts at all levels.
DefExpo-2022, Asia's largest defense-exhibition, is in line with the vision of achieving self-reliance in the defense sector and exports of $5 billion by 2025. This is Asia's biggest event in the defense sector. It was postponed in March 2022 due to logistical issues being faced by the participants.
The DefExpo-2022 will give the participants an opportunity to showcase their equipment and
platforms, as well as explore the expansion and capabilities of the Indian defense industry to build business partnerships. The event will help boost investment, expand manufacturing capabilities and harness technology.
