Uttar Pradesh Government Launches Panchamrut Yojana To Increase Sugarcane Cultivation
Recently, the Uttar Pradesh government has started the Panchamrut Yojana to increase the yield of sugarcane. This scheme will not only explain the five methods of farming to the farmers but will double the income of sugarcane farmers by producing more. It will work as a lifeline to the farmers.
In order to increase the yield by using new technology in sugarcane cultivation, the sugarcane department has started a new scheme named Panchamrut. This
includes modern techniques of sugarcane sowing like trench, tree management, drip irrigation, mulching and co-cropping. Hence it is named Panchamrut.
