Tokyo Olympian Bhavani Devi Won Gold Medal at Commonwealth BFencing Championship 2022
Indian fencer player Bhavani Devi has won gold medal in senior women's sabre individual category at Commonwealth Fencing Championship 2022. She defeatednVeronica Vasileva of Australia by 15-10 to win the title in London. Bhavani Devi has won the title for the second time as she won the gold medal in the same event in 2019.
Chennai-based fencer Bhavani Devi has had an illustrious career so far as she created history by becoming the only Indian fencer to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. Let’s educate us that the Commonwealth Fencing Championship 2022 in London was her 10th international tournament of this year.
