Novak Djokovic becomes first  player to win 80 matches in all  four Grand Slams

Recently, Novak Djokovic became the first player in history to win 80 matches in all four Grand Slams. He
defeated Kwon Soon-woo by 6-3, 3- 6, 6-3, 6-4 on center court for his 80th win at Wimbledon.

On the basis of his victory, the former world number 1 tennis player has created history by winning his 80th match at Wimbledon. The six-time champion has become the first male player to win 80 or more matches in all four Grand Slams in the Open Era. Number of matches won by Novak Djokovic in each Grand Slam

These are the four most important annual tennis events and each tournament is played for approximately two weeks. These Grand Slam tournaments are administered by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

1. Australian Open
This is organized in mid-January and played on hard court.
2. French Open
Also known as Roland-Garros de Paris, and organized in May and June, it is played on clay court.
3. Wimbledon
This is organized in June and July and is played on grass court.
4. US Open
This is organized in August and September and is played on hard court. Wimbledon is relatively older than the rest (1877), followed by the US (1881), French (1891) and Australian (1905).
