'Jyotirgamaya Utsav' being organized in New Delhi

'Jyotirgamaya Utsav' is being organized in New Delhi from 21 June to 25 June, 2022. Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy has inaugurated the 'Jyotirgamaya

Utsav'. This is a unique effort of Sangeet Natak Akademi to revive the fading arts of India. It is a 5-day

festival running from 21-25 June.

It showcases rare musical instrument talent from across the country like street performers, train entertainers, etc. It aims to bring to the world the voices of 'unheard' artists away from the limelight.

The ‘Jyotirgamaya Utsav’ includes

the following-

1. Performances by 75 artists

2. 5 day workshop on manufacturing of rare musical instruments

3. Yoga session

4. Instrument Making Workshop - Exhibition on Making Instruments(Tabla, Sitar, etc.)

5. Spiritual concert
