Uddhav Thackeray Resigns From the Post Of Chief

Uddhav Thackeray has resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Maharashtra after a setback from the Supreme Court. Addressing the people of the state just after the Supreme Court's decision, he referred to the decisions taken during his tenure.

Uddhav Thackeray said that the god of justice has given the verdict, asked for floor test. Thanks to the
governor too. Democracy should be followed. We will follow it. Hitting out at the rebels, the Shiv Sena chief said that you must have come in front and talk.

Uddhav Thackeray had indicated his resignation in the cabinet meeting itself on June 29. He said after the meeting that you supported me for two and a half
years. On reaching ministry, the Chief Minister bowed before the statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji and the architect of the Constitution, BR Ambedkar.
