Delhi Government launches 'Mission Kushal Karmi' for construction workers
Recently, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia Launched 'Mission Kushal Karmi' to help construction workers in improving their capabilities. The program has been developed by the Government 12 July 2022. https://youtu.be/w_ZEO of Delhi in collaboration with Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) and Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
Under this 15-day special training program, skill development of workers will take place, which will increase their salary in future.
This will increase the salary of the employees by up to Rs 8,000. Under this scheme the government wants to train 2 lakh workers in a year. These skilled personnel will also be beneficial for manufacturing enterprises.
Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University now operates training centers at 3 locations, and more centers will be added soon. Excellent training places for the employees have also been created at each of these centers.
The program aims to provide on- the-job skill development training to over 2 lakh registered construction workers in the industry's demand-driven job roles in the construction sector every year. As part of the initiative, employees will receive 120 hours (15 days) of training at their places of employment.
