Azadi ki Rail Gadi and stations  inaugurated in Delhi

On 18 July, 2022, Vinay Kumar Tripathi, Chairman, Railway Board has inaugurated 'Azadi Ki Rail Gadi
and Station' in New Delhi. Highlighting the importance of 75 stations and 27 trains during the freedom struggle, Indian Railways has organized a week long function. The event will continue till July 23.

On this occasion, the Chairman said that as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Azadi ki Rail Gadi and stations program is being organized under Jan Bhagidari and Jan Andolan. He said that it will show the values and pride of the freedom struggle of the past and the aspirations of young India for the future.For this 75 railway stations and 27 trains have been identified. During this, street plays, light and sound shows, video films and patriotic songs will be broadcast in regional languages at these 75 stations in 24 states
