Haryana launched the Chief Minister's Equal Education Relief, Assistance and Grant (CHIRAG) Scheme

 Recently, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has started Chief Minister’s Equal Education Relief, Assistance and Grant (CHIRAG) scheme.

 It aims to provide 'free education' in budget private schools to students belonging to the

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of government schools. Under this scheme, government school students whose parents' annual verified income is less than Rs 1.8 lakh can take admission in private schools.
