Veteran investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala passes away
On August 14, 2022, veteran investor and businessman Rakesh Jhunjhunwala passed away at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Jhunjhunwala was 62 years old.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was born on 5 July 1960. He was a Chartered Accountant.

He grew up in a Rajasthani family in Mumbai. His father worked as a commissioner of income tax. He
graduated from Sydenham College and then joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was known as 'Warren Buffet of India' and 'King of Bull Market'. The example he set for earning from the stock market is an epitome. The company in which he used to invest, good earning in the shares of those companies was evident. He had an
estimated net worth of 5.4 billion as of July 2022, making him the 36th richest person in India.

Recently launched airlines Akasa Air

Recently, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's airline Akasa Air was launched. Akasa Air made its first flight on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route on 7 August. The first flight wasbinaugurated by Union Civil Aviationn Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Minister of State for External Affairs General VK Singh (Retd).

Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbainand Kochi on 22 July. A few days ago, the Air Operator Certificate was issued to the aviation regulator DGCA Company.
