Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates Deoghar International Airport
On 12 July, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the newly constructed International Airport in Deoghar, Jharkhand. Spread over 654 acres of.land, this airport will provide direct air service to devotees and tourists from Baba Baidyanathdham
Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlings in the country.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs.16,835 crore in Deoghar district of
Jharkhand. The Prime Minister offered prayers at Baba Baidyanathdham Temple and also inaugurated the Super Specialty Operation Theater at AIIMS.Hospital in Deoghar.
